More Art for More Options
Create art daily, and you will have more art. It sounds so obvious, right? Profundity is often simple, and yet often overlooked. Perhaps the simplicity deceives us into thinking it can’t be that easy… that success and excellence is complex and elusive.
Certainly it can be. However, success is more a matter of prolific persistence and endurance over time. If you want to be an artist with a portfolio then you create art daily and your body of work will speak for itself.
Yet it’s not uncommon for artists to bemoan needing to create more. Whether it’s writers aspiring to start or finish a book or visual artists wanting to create a gallery of work, to create daily makes all the difference in the outcome for whatever your creative endeavor.
Putting your art out there regularly will attract opportunities and interest in ways you can rarely plan or predict in advance. What is predictable is that if you create art regularly you will grow and improve in your abilities, ideas, exposure and opportunities.
Success comes from prolific persistence and endurance over time.
“Every artist was first an amateur.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson, philosopher, poet, 1803-1882

Art Needed – Apply Daily
Too often in creative circles the notion of struggle accompanies the artistic persona. This isn’t a terminal sentence. It’s changeable. And we’re in a world that desperately needs positive change.
Art is about beauty, imagination, creativity, unity, diversity, shadow and light… all coexisting in the kaleidoscope of creation. Artists have long played vital roles in major revolutions, and are needed today more than ever to bring forth a New Renaissance through art, heart and creativity. And we can now.
Creating cultivates unity in humanity.
Create a better day… create kindness… create love… create joy… create your art. Create… because you can.

Creativity is a Renewable Resource
Whatever your area of interest, doing compounds creativity. Artist’s block is remedied and stuck gets unstuck through daily doing. The more you create art, the more art you can create.
To create daily is to enter the dimension of infinite ideas.
Progress is addicting. The more you create the more you can create.

Overwhelm is a Mindset. Change it.
There is so much incredible opportunity in the world today that it’s easy to take on too much. You’ve probably done it. I know I have. Signing up for too many webinars, buying too many courses and not finishing them. Bookmarking too many articles, flagging too many emails and not reading them. Guilty of all of that.
Taking on too much can very quickly lead to overwhelm. But if you step back and change your view, you will change your experience.
There’s a mindset of overwhelm that says, “I have too much to do… I’m getting burned out.” There’s a reframe that says: “I have so much to create… I can’t wait for another day of doing.” “I’m so grateful for the abundance of ideas and opportunities!”
Either mindset could be equally true given the same person and same scenario. Focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. Change your view and you will change your experience.
The mindset you choose is what becomes more true for you.

The Key to Mindset
An optimistic mindset works but it must be refreshed daily. Until such time as that habit is so ingrained that it becomes your default.
We want to set our default to positive, empowering thoughts, emotions and actions.
You must associate with those who are where you want to go and similarly aspiring. If you want to be a best selling author, associate with other authors and writers. Learn from those who are successfully doing what you want to do.
The key to mindset is the company you keep.
A winning mindset is as present and predictable as the sunrise. It shows up daily.

In the Zone of Genius
Your zone of genius is tapped into your inner reservoir of resilience… your personal Holy Grail which cup is perpetually full.
When you’re tired, rest. If you’re burnt out or tired in the doing, chances are you’re not yet tapped into your zone. In the zone of genius, time disappears and your work energizes you until finally, your body demands rest.
If you’re not yet there, don’t worry. If you haven’t yet found your zone, it is somewhere along the way of discovery. The only way to find your zone is through experience.
Pursue each open door of opportunity over time and you will arrive on the heels of trial and error to the threshold of victory. If you keep heading in the direction of ‘yes’, and away from the direction of ‘no’, you will arrive to the inner sanctum where resides your personal Holy Grail — your purpose — on the lighted altar of your soul.
Daily doing compounds creativity.
