4 Habits for Success
Choose good habits that support your goals… nurture them with “GAIA”:
- Growth – ongoing learning in your area of endeavor and related areas
- Accountability – to a journal, coach, group or partner to help you stay on track
- Immersion – dive deep into doing your work daily
- Association – hang out with those who are doing—and aspiring to—achieving more
Goals are about manifestation. Whether you’re building a business, coding a game, painting, or writing, you’re creating something that hasn’t been created before. Even one word, one sentence in your manuscript or article… one brush stroke on the canvas, one staff of music written is creating something that wasn’t there before.
You’ve probably prepared a recipe before. Setting and working goals is much the same. You decide what to make (where you want to go), you assemble what you’ll need to do it, and then you create it.
So how do you turn your goals into achievement? Anchor your vision each day through these simple steps:
Many creatives say they work best when they have some sort of support network. When you associate with others who are somewhere along the journey you’re on, it’s easier for you to arrive at your goals. Let’s discuss a few of those here.
It’s essential to immerse in the mindset of the life you want to live.

4 Steps to Achieve Your Goals
If you need to strip success down to a barebones outline, this is foundational.
Anchor your goals daily:
- Think it
- Ink it
- Say it
- Do it
Success arrives on the heels of daily diligence over time.

Start Simply in Order to Simply Start
Obviously, these steps to success are simplified. But they’re foundational steps that create the daily structure that will help bring your dreams to life. Often, just sharing something with another helps to keep us accountable. An accountability partner can be a coach, a group or a friend. Each helps the other to stay on track through encouragement and through our own examples, and when requested, through gentle nudges to get back no track.
When we think our goals, then write them and say them out loud, it sets the stage to help make them more real. The last step of “do it”, is the performance that brings it all to life.
On Broadway and Las Vegas and elsewhere, there are shows that run day after day, year after year for many years. That’s what’s required to manifest dreams, one day at a time, the day is the way.
At iCreateDaily we’ve hosted 30 Day Challenges for creators. Participants say that just the fact of the opportunity to post daily work and progress has helped with productivity and growth.
Coaches, Groups and Accountability Partners
Never underestimate the power of association to lift you up or pull you down. Who you hang out with matters. Seek groups, friend, associates and associations that elevate and inspire you in your positive pursuits.
Personal trainers train advanced athletes who could easily do their own workouts. Those advanced athletes also hire coaches for accountability and to keep on learning and growing.
Ongoing Education, Learning and Growth
You can make incredible leaps and bounds toward your goals through immersing in ongoing learning. There are so many resources today online, both free and paid, and you can get the equivalent of college education without going to college.
Follow these simple steps to achieve your goals… and you shall arrive! Once you get into a consistent rhythm of this super simple daily goal setting, you’ll be ready for the next step of incorporating visioning and a goals journal for goals planning, if you’re not already using one.
Successful people hire coaches for strategy, ideation, planning and accountability.
If you enjoy esoteric ponderings, you may enjoy the rest of this. If not, then move on, you’ve got the basic structure to proceed with dynamic daily progress! Or check out this article on setting daily goals.
Saying your intention “out loud”, takes it from the nether regions of vaguity and imprints it in the ethers of effect. Next comes consistent daily action for manifestation. The day is the way.

Manifestation and How Thoughts Become Things
Thoughts sprout from ideas that come to mind. Energize those thoughts and they imprint their blueprint in the ether of existence… that mysterious substance that cloaks all on earth.
You can see it in images of the earth as the glow of the atmospheric field. That same life-emanating field that protects our planet, also protects all life, and all potentiality.
Just as clouds flow through the sky, and the weather circumnavigates our planet, so too do our thoughts orbit us. Those which we energize are the ones that stay more solidly in the gravitational pull of our personal ecosystem.
‘Imprinting ether” is another way of describing manifestation. This is where thoughts first become things and orbit the etheric field of the body. Those which we focus on — good or bad — thrive to nurture, or to poison. Those ignored or left idle, find fertile ground elsewhere, or wither and perish. This is why daily intentions followed by daily visioning and action are integral to success.
When we clean up and take care of our inner environment the outer environment also improves.

I believe it’s called to ‘aver’…it means to speak into being.
