Even if the final version ends up edited and revised, modified or improved, they’re still your dreams and only you can make it true for you. As a child my dream was to sing… but it’s clearly not in my genetics for this life. So I’ve tweaked that dream.

If you’re struggling to achieve your goals, you’re in good company. Know that you’re not alone; that many people toil as you do, working hard for a better life. Connect with those who reinforce your dreams… with those who believe in you and your ability to achieve, even when you doubt yourself.

Associations matter. Connect and associate with those who are aspiring to better themselves. Positive associations mirror, reflect and amplify each other. Choose yours carefully.

Never give up on your dreams because if you can dream them, you can likely do them. Well… most of them.

Your dreams belong to you… and only you can make them come true.

How to Make Your Dreams Come True

This isn’t about fantasy. We’re talking about dreams as goals and visions for your life.

If anyone in the world has done such a thing before… or anything like it, then so too can you… and then some. Because many of the heroes we follow—two of which we’ll share in a bit—have created a future more grand than anyone could have dreamed possible.

This is about the dreams of your most magnificent life. Of the kind of life you’ve ever daydreamed about, wished for and imagined. No matter how far along you get in your aspirations for an even better life, every step along the way brings you to new levels of wonderment.

Success comes from struggle and longevity of effort. If you’re in a slump and feeling like throwing in the towel, don’t.

Step back and take a break.  You need to change your state.

Rest, refresh, take a vigorous walk, run, bike or swim. Watch a comedy or do something fun. After you’re rested and refreshed, take another look at your dreams. Do the next thing that will move you closer to them. Then repeat.

Take one step closer to your dreams… then take another. Daily.

The dreamer weaves the strands of days together into the tapestry of life.
On the threads of love wrought forth, dreams become real.

Don’t Quit

Pivot maybe… sashay, maybe, but quit? No! Never quit. Struggles suck, but they make you stronger. So maybe it’s time to reframe struggles.

Change Negatives to Positives – Reframe

FROM: “I’m struggling.”  TO:  “I’m succeeding!
FROM:  “It’s too hard.”     TO:  “I’m getting better and stronger“?

Most people give up way way too soon. Don’t be most people.

Expect Great Things

We all admire olympic athletes. And we all know they got to where they are only because they struggled through the hard stuff, over and over, day in and day out, for years.

We admire successful athletes because of their struggle. We know they did not get to where they are on the sheer luck of genetic birthright. In fact, most who succeed, do so only because of what they bring to the game and the struggle that birthed their greatness, far more than what they were genetically gifted at birth.

We all feel like giving up now and then. It takes a powerful mind and will to create something new in your life… something more. It takes the kind of effort that most people just aren’t willing to do.

But… you’re not most people.

Reinventing You

In a recent episode of an iCreateDaily Coffee Break podcast (we’ll return here to post that to publish that on 6/27/19), we talk about how you can reinvent yourself and your life from this moment forward. You’re the only one who can.

What has come before need not define what comes ahead, if you do not wish it to.

All it takes from you is the decision to push through the hard stuff that stands between you and your goals… between you and where you want to be and who you want to be. And… to never give up on your dreams!

For a fantastic interview that illustrates the power of perseverance and creating the life you want to live, give yourself the gift of watching this interview.

This Impact Theory features two of our heroes, mentioned earlier. Both of these men started in the unlikeliest of circumstances for becoming millionaire/billionaires. And yet both have done so, each in their own way, each through their own ‘heroe’s journey’ of effort through struggle, and of never giving up.

Never give up on your dreams. You will arrive in your future, either way, but your life will be all the richer for having persevered. Better richer for the experience of the effort than bitter with regret for never having tried.

You do not want to arrive in your future, never having tried your best… no matter what.

“If you don’t ask the questions of what you want to do next, the world is going to put you in the box of what you have to do next.”
