The Magic of Compounding Life and the 8th Wonder of the World

the secret of compounding-one see to many fruit

The magic of compounding is about ever so much more than interest income and money. Vastly. No wonder Einstein proclaimed that,  “Compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world.”

Chances are that artist, Lydia May, (whom we’ve highlighted in this article), actually made little to nothing for her entire first year.

Perhaps not even much until the third year.

But now? Lydia’s one consistent effort to share for free and publish that to YouTube has created additional revenue streams — and revenue stream opportunities — for her.

The beauty of the YouTube model is compounding. Similar to websites, only often faster, a YouTube channel can continue to grow and gain traction and compound over years.

  • Her Etsy store featured on her YouTube channel
  • She could also have a website
  • She could also have an email list to serve and sell to
  • Sponsors pay Lydia to be a brand ambassador for products she enjoys using and to feature their products during her sessions
  • Sponsors often ship products to brand ambassadors for free

The one focused effort, supported by ancillary platforms such as Facebook and Instagram have each fed  into her YouTube channel and vice versa.

Lydia’s efforts have compounded in all directions.

Compounding is considered by investors to be akin to one of the wonders of the world. The 8th wonder of the world, in fact.

But it’s not just applicable in the world of investing. Rather, it is a universal law that’s extraordinarily relevant to every area of life.

Did You Learn the Magic of Compounding in School?

Chances are that we (hopefully) learned about compound interest in school. But have we heeded it? Have you applied this principle in your life?

Most don’t, else we would not be a society governed by debt.

Based on how many more Americans are in debt today than ever before, it seems like this lesson did not get drilled into the mass consciousness.

But we can anchor it in ours, for it is infinitely greater than mere money.

The Magic of Compounding Life

Positivity compounds. So does negativity.

Attitudes, thoughts and actions compound.

Relationships compound into more. Or less.

Money compounds, so does debt.

Health compounds. So does illness.

Wealth compounds. So does poverty.

What are you compounding today?

The seeds of today become the orchards of tomorrow. The seeds of today become the orchards of tomorrow. LeAura Alderson, iCreateDaily.com

The Eighth Wonder of the World is Yours

The Eighth Wonder of the World is available to you. It is yours to own. Your privilege and prerogative.

“Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.”
