Love What You Do…

Love what you do, when you can't do what you love. #LoveWhatYouDo #DoWhatYouLove

Even if you can’t do what you love, you can always learn to love what you do.

If you’re struggling to cast your sights on your hopes and dreams for the future amidst all the worry and uncertainty, that’s normal.

When we’re in the middle of a long-lasting rainy season, it can be hard to imagine a sunny day. Yet no storm lasts forever, and those sunny days will return.

Meanwhile, continue to energize the future you wish to live, while working daily toward that. No matter how small a step, there’s always something we can do toward creating the future we wish to live in the present.

The most important? Is to be the person you wish to be now. Not what you wish to have… where you’d rather live… who you’d rather be with, but you… the kind of person you aspire to be… the vision of yourself at your best and most fulfilled.

That’s where the passion is. When you bring love with you, you’re bringing your best self, and that self can absolutely love whatever it is that you’re doing.

You can be the person you wish to become, now. Don’t wait for some day. Someday is today, now, this moment in eternity.

The more we love what we do, the more we also get to do what we love.

Our Dreams are About Who We are Becoming

Ultimately, our dreams are more about the kind of person we wish to be and the experiences we wish to have than about things, places and even people. That’s worth reflection, for if we probe what’s behind our current wish list, goals and dreams, inevitably, it has to do with how it will make us feel.

Who we wish to be… to grow into, is about how we will feel about ourselves by becoming that vision.

The feelings we enjoy from our achievements and victories, good work and contribution, learning and growth inevitably outweigh and outlast the fleeting pleasures. That and love. Love and connection is a part of any meaningful experience more than anything material or circumstantial.

Because here’s the thing: If we were saturated in living our dream in all its glory, the ultimate joy would not come from places and things or even people. Those all help us celebrate and enjoy, and the people we love are essential for a happy and balanced life. However…

The ultimate success in life is being at peace within ourselves when we’re alone, quiet and naked before our conscience.

To Be Love

To be love, is to fill our hearts with love for ourselves, each other, for humanity and for creation. It is to see love… express love and be love.

Our ultimate peace is not in doing what we love, but in loving whatever it is we’re doing, for that is the one thing within our control. We cannot always do what we love… but we can find a way to love whatever we do, wherever we are, for after all… there we are.

Easy to do? Hardly. Possible? Absolutely. And hard gets easier with practice.

So in times of constriction… let us expand our hopes and our hearts. Let not fear reign, for what will be will be, so let us choose to travel through life with love, optimism and hope.

Let’s be the Johnny Appleseed of hope, planting seeds of kindness and optimism wherever we go in whatever we’re doing.

To Create Love

To create, is to love… so let’s bring more love to life by creating positivity for ourselves and those around us. The artist’s way is to create beauty where it is not and to manifest more light and color, life and love.

To love, is to create beauty and positivity.

And when it is we cannot do what we love, we absolutely can find ways to love what we’re doing. How? By expressing love wherever we are, because love is the core of our being. Love is our birthright and our destiny… our north star home.

We no longer need wait for love to happen through external circumstances. Instead, the more we express love by our thoughts and actions, the more love will flow through us.

To love, is to create. And to create, is to love… to bring love to life.

Why to Love What You Do?

We are who we are, not what we do.

You’ve probably heard these quotes or some variation of them.
“Wherever you go… there you are.”
“The one thing all your relationships have in common, is you.

When we’re right with ourselves, we’re right with the world, no matter the external circumstances. Joy… that sustaining, overflowing cup of happiness, is an inside-out deal. It is not based on circumstance, but on self and our relationship with ourself.

The relationship with ourself is based on how much we’re living according to our internal blueprint for our life. The closer we get to that the happier we become, and it all begins with steadily living in accordance with our vision for ourselves first and foremost.

Ask Yourself:

“What is my vision of the person I wish to be?”

Whenever Faced with a Decision or Opportunity, Ask:

What choice, action or decision, will move me closer to my vision self?”
THEN… do that!

It Begins With Loving Others

Loving ourselves and being at peace within, begins with caring. It is in caring for others that love is born and nurtured. It is in caring for ourselves… nurturing our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health that we come to love ourselves in a way that brings peace and joy.
