We were inspired to collect freedom quotes to share with you in celebration of the fact that we have the artistic freedom to create anything, anytime, anywhere, (for the most part).

Obviously, there are exceptions. We are not talking about working outside the realm of physics and what’s real, such as gravity. But we are talking about pushing the boundaries of our perceived limitations and assumptions, including genetics.

Epigenetics has proven that our genes can evolve beyond genetics. And we can evolve beyond that which may be holding us back for our next level of growth.

Pushing against perceived limitations is the only way to expand them.

We Are Free to Create

It hasn’t always been that way, and in fact, there are still places in the world where it may not be that way. So whether it’s the 4th of July Independence Day, or today… now… take a moment to celebrate the fact that you have the artistic freedom to create as you please.

It is human destiny to create… to be co-creators of art, industry and of life itself.

From the art we make, to the industry we create… the creations we craft, and the words we write, to life, it’s all a part of destiny’s journey. The day is the way there.

From the children we bear to the creations we craft, creating connects us with life, with creation and with divinity itself. It is a human privilege to create the life we want to live… and we are the only sentient beings who can consciously achieve that for ourselves.

It’s important to remember that while we may not always be able to choose the circumstances of our lives, we can always choose the way we think about them.

We must never forget that today, no matter our life circumstances, we are free to create. Not only are we free to create, but we must create to bring forth that which is waiting to grow.

Choose Your Freedoms Carefully and Consciously

Today… in this era of human existence, most of us are free to choose whatever we want to eat, whenever we want to eat it.

However, if we choose foods for taste alone over nourishment, it will impinge on our freedom to be healthy. That regular frappuccino or bagel, pizza and ice cream [insert your indulgent temptations] is amazing… and it inhibits health if you choose it regularly.

You are free to not exercise. However, If you choose not to exercise, you will lose your freedom to be fit. If you choose to not be fit, then you are choosing to limit your capacity to live your life more fully. Essentially, you are choosing against health.

You will lose your freedom of movement, strength, health and vitality. You will lose your freedom to feel good about how you look and feel. Perhaps you will defend that freedom by claiming allegiance against any focus on appearance. However… appearances tend to reveal choices.

The funny thing about freedom is that choosing one, can negate another, so choose your freedoms carefully and consciously.

The Philosophy of Freedom

This is an interesting philosophical rabbit hole, because ultimately, while we are free to choose, the higher choices bring greater freedom. The less we choose that which is in alignment with our soul… with purpose, the less freedom we have. The less happy we become.

Conversely, the more we choose in alignment with that which supports our life… our spirit… that which lives and breathes and moves us… our reason for being, the more we grow in freedom… in happiness… and in joy.

The more we constrict that which detracts from our highest vision for ourselves, the more we become that vision. The more we become that vision, the greater our individual freedom.

How to choose your freedoms? Choose your personal high road, above all, and you will gain greater freedoms.

Oddly, it is in restricting the freedom to do anything we want, that we grow in freedom to become all that we aspire to.
