There are so many reasons to love haiku poems, so we’re creating this winter haiku poetry article to share winter haiku poems from the iCreateDaily community. Creating art and poetry is a great way to warm up the winter season!
If you’re new to writing haiku poems, here’s a how to write a haiku article. There you will learn that there are rules and guidelines around how many syllables in each line, but that there is also flexibility.
Whether there was an exact metric in origin, is not completely clear, and then there’s the transliteration between Japanese and English, which naturally alters the metrics.
What is clear is that haiku poetry always has just three lines.
